Bio-Microbics Wastewater Treatment Systems

The FAST (Fixed Activated Sludge Treatment) systems designed by Bio-Microbics uses an Integrated Fixed-Film Activated Sludge. It reduces nitrogen by simultaneously combining the biological, bio-chemical, chemical and physical processes. The FAST system is an integral part of the MyFAST and MicroFAST product lines.

Bio-Microbics Company History

Bio-Microbics is mainly concerned with manufacturing environmentally conscious wastewater and storm water treatment systems. The company has been providing products and services to residential, commercial, and municipal clients for more than over 35 years. Many of its their products feature the exclusive FAST technology, which was originally developed by Smith and Loveless, Inc.

In addition to the MicroFAST septic systems, Bio-Microbics offers pond and lagoon systems, pumping systems, storm water systems, aeration systems, upgrades, and grease interceptors. Recently, the company reported approximately 25 employees and annual revenues of $2 million.

Bio-Microbics FAST Septic Systems Specifications

The MyFAST system is manufactured for use in small commercial and municipal settings. It can also work in large subdivision settings as well as in upgrades to municipal package plants. The first two sizes of MyFAST systems available are 40,000 US gallons per day and 80,000 US gallons per day. The company suggests restaurants, schools, office buildings, trailer parks, and commercial properties should select the third model that can handle 160,000 US gallons per day.

For residential applications, the MicroFAST systems from Bio-Microbics are currently available in four sizes: 1500 US gallons per day, 3,000 US gallons per day, 4,500 US gallons per day, and 9,000 US gallons per day.
